People often ask about the name Catfishin’ Muslimah. To us, the water is a mirror. Catfishing is an art form that requires deep patience, an understanding of the environment, and a firm anchor.
It is a metaphor for the spiritual life: having faith in what you cannot yet see beneath the surface and possessing the strength to pull it into the light. We are all fishermen of our own souls, casting out with hope and reeling in with gratitude.
